Our low light level imaging Lynx and Kameleon sensors are the enabling technology behind our Nocturn Low-Light CMOS cameras, ideal for surveillance or mobile applications. The LYNX CMOS Sensor is the first operational Night Vision and Homeland Security Digital Sensor based on full solid-state technology operating in both daylight and low-light level (equivalent to quarter moon). The LYNX CMOS Sensor offers new perspectives in connecting night vision to Command and Control (C4I), in urban and suburban surveillance at night and in advanced applications such as vehicle protection/surveillance and fusion of digital images such as visible (at night) and infra-red (IR). The color version of the Lynx sensor is Kameleon. The user can opt for color images in extreme low light conditions (~100 mlx) or utilize the sensor’s default monochrome image.
