Description

The Crius series consists of affordable SWaP optimized thermal imaging cores. These cores are available in both shuttered option (specifically for 1280 x 1024-pixel resolution) and shutterless option (for 640 x 480 or 1280 x 1024-pixel resolutions). With their remarkable compactness and exceptional resolution capabilities, Crius series significantly enhances the performance of electro-optical systems in long-range observation and surveillance.

NEW: The new Crius XP (Extreme Performance) series includes XP 640, XP 1280, and XP S 1280 (shuttered) -- delivers unmatched imaging performance. Featuring contour enhancement for sharper DRI, contrast-based autofocus management, and rapid startup under 0.7 s, these thermal cores excel in the toughest environments. With enhanced thermal stability and flexible interfaces for seamless system integration, the Crius XP Series sets a new standard for defense and high-demand operations.

The Crius 1280 is powered by 1280x1024 pixels bolometric sensor providing excellent thermal profile with typical NETD of 50 mK. The CRIUS 1280 is the solution for demanding OEMs and integrators in long-range observation and surveillance.

The Crius 640 is powered by 640x480 pixels bolometric sensor providing excellent thermal profile with typical NETD of 50 mK (40mK upon request). The CRIUS 640 is the among the most compact and lightest VGA thermal imaging camera in the world.

CRIUS S 1280 thermal core

The Crius S 1280 boasts a high-performance 1280x1024-pixel bolometric sensor, delivering exceptional resolution and thermal sensitivity with a NETD of less than 50 mK. Its compact, SWaP-optimized design ensures efficiency in size, weight, and power consumption, while the mechanical shutter enhances image consistency. Designed for advanced DRI (Detection, Recognition, Identification) tasks, the Crius S 1280 series excel in Search and Rescue missions, providing reliable and precise thermal imaging in critical scenarios.
